This is a free online word site for preschoolers (or ELL students) that includes over 500 common words with pictures, audio/video and text.  (Think interactive flashcards.) 

This site would be great independent and/or teacher guided practice for common english words. (Could also be useful for speech students and special needs students.)

Notable features:

• large pictures, kid-friendly graphics
• create word lists by choosing "favorites"
• video is person speaking the english word, and the video has a delay so that the child will have time to think of/say the word
• family section allows user to upload picture of each family member
• requires user to create account
• has a search feature to find specific words
